I have a TomTom Ease. Trying to update maps. Can't find the serial number and the Ease is not listed in the dropdown list. What can I do.

Hello! I am sorry you're having trouble updating your TomTom is the manual for you, in case you need it...


According to the manual, you'll need to use TomTom Home in order to update your Ease. Here are my instructions for how to do this...


You'll need to install the TomTom Home software from this link...


The links are there as blue buttons...the one on the left is for Windows computers and the one on the right is for Macs.


Just follow the on-screen prompts using all defaults to install the software.


Once it's installed, run TomTom Home -- it will prompt you during this time to connect your TomTom to the computer. This should be everything you need...if you have anymore questions though, please let me know and I'll do my best to help further, even if you "accept" my answer now.

Did you install TomTom Home and go through updating it with that yet?

I installed tomtom home and have the icon on my screen When I click on it , it promps me to install it again

Have you restarted your computer since installing TomTom Home? If not, please disconnect your TomTom from the computer, restart, then launch TomTom Home will tell you when to connect your TomTom after that when you tell it to check for updates...
