Hi my name is Josh. Unlike Garmin - these units do NOT have on board re-calibration.

There IS a way to change a file's value within the TomTom - however changing these is not for the novice user.

It is in pretty good detail in the TomTom forums. CLICK HERE

You are basically changing the values of the MaxX MinX MinY MaxY.

calib.txt
is an undocumented feature that can work to fix out-of-warranty devices when the touchscreen start to fail and gets mis-calibrated.

If your GPS is within the 2 year warranty period - shipping to TomTom is your best option.

You will need to call them to set up the return/repair.
