hi - am trying to upload a gpx file into my new garmin edge

hi - am trying to upload a gpx file into my new garmin edge 800. I just did it on my edge 705, but even though i follow instructions i can't view the route on the new garmin. any ideas?

To get a GPX into the 800:

Mount the Edge on your computer

Copy the GPX to one of the folders called NewFiles.
There may be two, one on the device itself, and one on the SD card:




Unmount the 800 and start it up.

Go to: Menu > Courses

You should see your route(s) listed.

They are listed in order of the distance from your current location of the route start point.
