I replaced my blower motor and when I turned on the air it

Customer Question

I replaced my blower motor and when I turned on the air it was blowing fine. Turned off the truck and it was still blowing. Replaced the resistor and now nothing comes on. Checked and replaced the fuse. It was good but I changed it anyways.
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: Yes ma'am.
JA: What is the model/year of your GM?
Customer: 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. I used a tester light. I have power to the resistor and to the blower from the resistor.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No

Hi, my name is***** will be happy to assist you. Since you have power to the motor go ahead and check ground also, if the ground is good then the blower motor is defective.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
There is good ground. I took the new blower motor back and got another one. Same results.

Is there any way you can check it with a volt meter to see how many volts are at the blower motor resistor at the orange wire, and the purple wire at the motor. Check those wires with the components plugged in and the switch on high
