Oil leaking in engine. I have a 2007 Yukon GmC Xl Denali
JA: How many miles are on the car? Have you been burning oil lately?
Customer: 145000 No just started leaking
JA: What is the model of your '143000 GMC?
Customer: 1500

Customer: Changing oil and the service tech told us oil was leaking in engine

Bottom by the engine but couldn't pin point where it was

its very hard to assume where it is coming from'

the best bet is to clean off the oil and add some oil dye to the engine oil and drive it for a few days then shoot the engine with a black light to look for the dye leak area

this can be an oil pan gasket or rear main seal or timing cover or front crank seal leak as those are the most common oil leak areas under these trucks for engine oil
