Customer Question

I'm leaking some fluid, think it's power steering fluid. Comes from some box shape under front center of vehicle. 2004 yukon denali

If you look straight across underneath vehicle from drivers side door. There's a square box shape that is approximately 8" by 8", appears to be where leak is coming from or fluid is just settling and dripping from there. Looks to be dark red in color... Doesn't smell like burnt oil

sorry for the delay............

If it is under the Hood Latch behind the Grill, that would be the Transmission Cooler
If it is near the engine, then that would be the Power Steering Pump / Reservoir

Did you see second part to my question?
Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 11 months ago.

sorry......did not see that..........
you now say it is middle of vehicle from driver door?
Not up front?

let me have a look at some diagrams

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Straight across underneath vehicle across from back of wheel well/ front of drivers side door. Oil filter is right next to it... Thanks. Chris

not seeing what you describe, but that does not mean there could not be a part there that may be needing attention & / or tightening to keep the fluid from leaking
If you could post a picture or have a look at it to see if any bolts can be tightened
