Noticed my duramax was taking longer to start. Now it is not

Customer Question

Noticed my duramax was taking longer to start. Now it is not getting fuel to the filter. Tried pumping the and bleeding but no fuel. So could it be the fuel pump and where is it located.
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with a GM. The GM Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: No fuel to filter.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: Changing filter, pumping and bleeding the fuel system.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the GM Mechanic should know about your GM?
Customer: All I get is air out of the bleeder on top of the filter.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the GM Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two. I'll let you know when it is your turn.

What year is your duramax? Is there any sign of diesel fuel in oil?
