I have a 2005 gmc sierra crew. The hvac system is manual dual zone. At times it will blow or from the defrost vents or just blow cold air wherever it wants. What could be the issue?

hi there, I am Cam. Usually all that is required is the system needs to be re-calibrated 3 times to clean the feedback circuit in the actuator off. This is done by removing the battery for 10 seconds. Attach the battery then start the engine for 3 mins. Shut the engine off and then repeat this 2 more times. If this does not correct it then your issue is likely the actuator itself. This actuator is above the fuel pedal on the side of the heater case itself.
