Hi there,
The DOD function (or AFM in Australia) is controlled by a VLOM, (valve lifter oil manifold assembly).
PCM Solenoid operated oil assembly under the inlet inlet manifold.
Has this happened since you had the inlet manifold off?
Possibly pinched a wire in VLOM harness?
