How do you remove the hydraulic clutch line for the reservoir on a 2001 gmc sonoma 2.2L engine

do you mean the line from the clutch master to the slave cylinder ? or the line into the bottom of the clutch master cylinder ?

The line from the reservoir bottom I Can get the line out from the tranny.but the line to the reservoir is tough to get to

there is a small roll pin holding the line into the bottom of the clutch master cylinderusually tapping it out with a roll pin punch will remove it but there is not much room to do so in the truckthe best bet is to remove the clutch master with the line still connected then on a bench or in a vise tap out the pin to release the line out of the bottom of the clutch master cylinder

How do you remove the clutch master cylinder

Remove the master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal.Turn the master cylinder 45 degrees counterclockwise to unlock the master cylinder.Disconnect the wiring harness from the clutch master cylinder start switch.Remove the clips securing the clutch line to the dash panel and heat shield.Remove the clutch master cylinder from the dash panel
