Issue with the A/C. We have a 2001 GMC Sierra, and the AC is cold, but on low settings, it doesn't blow very strong. Could a damper be stuck or something?

Hello, I'm Cam. At anytime during our discussion you need more information or clarification, please reply.I would suspect more on this model the cabin air filter. There are still filters up to and including 2002, and they are under the passengers side of the dash, to the left of the heater blower. The connector shown is the blower resistor. There is a single screw and cover to remove.
So would the cabin air filter be blocking the air flow? Should I replace the filter or the resistor?
The filters will cause the flow to be blocked and yes, change the filters (there are 2 in there side by side) and not the resistor.
Can I remove and replace the filters myself, or does a technician need to do it?
You can do it yourself easily with a 7mm socket and a 5.5mm socket.
