GMC 1500 Sierra 4x4 crew cab: The mebc2 fuse constantly blows

Customer Question

The mebc2 fuse constantly blows I took to a dealer and had diagnosed. I was told the passenger window switch was bad. I was saving the money for the switch and on a whim I changed the fuse. every thing worked for 6 months then it started blowing fuses again. I replaced the pass side window switch but problem still exists. Any help would be worth alot. I really like this truck and would like to fix it.

Hello, I'm Cam. At anytime during our discussion you need more information or clarification, please reply.
There are a couple areas of concern that cause this.

Check these.
- The wiring that runs out from the junction block at the drivers left foot area down for chaffing on the bracket that holds it.
- check the wiring under the drivers seat and the passengers seat. -
-check the wiring in the large connectors.
-check the wiring in the boot that runs to the door from the body.

Check these and see what you find.
