proautotech :

Thanks for trusting us with your problem. I have trained in the automotive field and currently work as a shop foreman. I will be helping you today.

proautotech :

You will need to use the flat end of the tire wrench.

proautotech :

You place the flat end and turn to release the spare.

proautotech :

Now as for getting to the lug nuts. What kind of problem are you having?

proautotech :

You will crank it down from under the back of the truck. There is a small hole in the bumper to the right of the license plate. Counter clockwise lowers it.

Customer:

How do I remove the hub cap to get to the wheel and lug nuts?

proautotech :

This you will use the flat head of the tire iron as well.

proautotech :

Insert on a side prying it away from the wheel. It will pop from that side. Finish removal by pulling it off.

proautotech :

If I have successfully answered your questions. You can press accept. If you need further information, let me know.

Customer:

The hub cap does not appear to want to come off. I can get the tire iron between it and the flat tire, but it will not pop off.

proautotech :

Does the hubcap have plastic caps over the lugs? If so you will have to loosen them first.

Customer:

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX it figured out now, I think.

proautotech :

Your welcome.
