GMC c1500: I have a 1988 gmc c1500 and have replaced plugs

I have a 1988 gmc c1500 and have replaced plugs , battery ,rotar and cap . It cranks gets fuel and spark but wont fire

How old is the fuel in the tank? Does engine start if starting fluid is sprayed into throttle body while cranking?

fuel has been in there since about nov and no we havent done startng fluid

The fuel is getting old enough that it may not be good enough to start the engine. Try starting fluid and if you can get the engine to start with the starting fluid, drain the tank and put in new fuel.
