does anyone have a repair diagram for changing a heater core in a 2000 gmc 1500?

The heater core replacement is a very involved job on these trucks. The dash has to come out and then the heater case comes out to gain access to the core. This procedure may be best shown in a video. Video is in 2 parts.

my book says something about a acess panel being easier. Where would that be?

There is a cover on top of the heater housing that is removed to access the heater core. The dash has to come out and the heater housing removed from the firewall to remove this cover. There is no other access panel for heater core on this truck.
