Hello I'm having trouble with a 93 suburban with a 5.7 engine. Has no codes in memory but stalls when put in gear. RPMs are about 750 at Idle my Verus doesn't have the connection for the older model cars but I found my old Genesis but live data is not great To look at on that The customer has already installed Idle air control valve ,throttle positioning sensor ,map sensor ,distributor cap rotor wires and plugs. The vehicle will stay running if I keep my foot on the gas. And I did notice transmission has been worked on before as well. He said they check the transmission but everything was fine

ok, before we go there, make sure the throttle body is free of carbon and clean. the idle air control valve on the throttle body could also be causing this issue. beyond that, the converter could be locked up causing this stalling as well.
