if the noise is coming from top of engine then most likely that is lifter noise

if the noise coming from bottom of engine , could be rod & crank bearings ?

if the noise get less noticeable the longer it runs , then lifter will be suspect .

if no change and the noise is constant , then bottom end issue.

Please let me know , if you need anything else on it

Thank You
