I have a 2002 avalanche and the power mirrors aren't moving

Customer Question

I have a 2002 avalanche and the power mirrors aren't moving with switch
JA: What is the model of your '02 GM?
Customer: Avalanche z71
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes and only changed the fuse so far and that didn't work
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: Only knew about the one on the driver side by the door
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Nope

Both fuses are fine

You could have a problem with the switch, you could also have broken wiring in the door causing the problem. The first thing would be to test the switch. You will need a multi meter set to ohms. You can move the switch and watch the meter. You can also test this at the mirror itself. If this has no power and the switch is good. It is common for wires to break in the drivers door rubber boot that is in the jam. You can pull back the rubber and look at the wiring and lightly pull on them looking for broken wires.
