Hi there, I am Cam. I am sorry to hear about this issue. Did you do any repairs or have anything else odd happen prior to this issue?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
My brother got out of the rear passenger door and it said door ajar when it was not

This sounds like you may have a Body Control Module (BCM) issue. The BCM is in control of all those functions and if it fails, any single issue can spring up or odd combinations of issues.

Oh yeah and my power door locks only work with the key fob
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

Ok so do you get the windows working properly from the switch?

Can you also check the fuses listed in the digram in your dash fuse block under the far right side of the dash?

Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

Also please confirm you have locks inoperative from passengers door as well?

Locks only work with the key fob

OK so both doors use different grounds so this is really looking like either obscure power from a fuse or bad Body Control Module (BCM).
