Just had a new fuel pump installed but problem still exists

just had a new fuel pump installed but problem still exists it is intermittent wont run after 20 miles let it sit a while then runs ok for a while then does it again

can you get this to act up where it will not run and see if the engine will somewhat run on starting fluid ?

are there any codes being set in the computer at all ?

it will sestart but shut down when put in gear seems to be starving for gas but settles down by feathering it then runs right for a whle then same thing

any access to a fuel pressure gauge to monitor fuel pressure key ON engine OFF when it will act up ?

no codes but runs well just problems when it is shut down and restarted after a few minutes it stalls for abuot 5or6 restarts unless its kept reved up a while

the fuel filter is new ?

can you connect a fuel pressure gauge to the test port under the hood on the fuel rail and see what the fuel pressure is reading key ON engine OFF when it is acting up ?

we need to eliminate fuel pressure being the problem at this point
