Hi there. So my first thing is this, have you verified he fuel that was out in was not gas?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes double checked first thing. Even went back to the gas station to make sure I pumped diesel.
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.
Thats very odd. The only times I have ever experienced this was when it got gas. But lets carry on, does the plunger get stiff when you pump on the plunger on the fuel filter?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Plunger is stiff and fuel comes from both the top and bottom bleeds

On the back of the left drivers side fuel rail is a small U shaped hose. IF you disconnect the hose from the fuel rail and plug it, then crank, does fuel come out of the port on the fuel rail?
