Hello, I'm Cam. At anytime during our discussion you need more information or clarification, please reply.

This is a fault in the head gaskets. The issue in this case is a faulty sealing ring on the #2 and #7 cylinders. This allows the combustion pressure to push into the cooling system and then pushes out the surge tank. This will not push coolant into the cylinder so it will not smoke. The replacement head gaskets are updated and do not have the same ring or design so repeat failures are not an issue. THe gaskets take about 36 hours to change in a shop as there is lots to get out of the way. Many even lift the cab off.

is it possible egr cooler could cause this proble

It's unlikely. The reason being is EGR cooler is not under any significant pressure. usually if that is leaking you will get smoke of the exhaust pipe.

Customer replied 250 days and 9 hours ago.

well its not losing a lot of fluid enough to make wheel well wet put only 2ltrs in 400 kms

That's still more than enough fluid. Tell me, if you have the engine really hot and you run it without the surge tank cap on, does the coolant bubble at all?

Customer replied 250 days and 9 hours ago.

i will try that and get back to u . and what if it does,

It confirms that gaskets. There is a test the GM has where you remove the EGR cooler, put air pressure in one side plug the other and put it in water to see if it's leaking.

Sorry in had logged off for the night. No bubbles only means that it takes more heat to make it leak. All I can suggest is trying the test on the Egr cooler then if it continues, do the head gaskets. Because of the torque and pressure, getting accurate readings in the bay is very difficult.

k ill try that thanx
