MY 2006 GMC truck has power door locks installed, however they do not work the doors have manuel locks on the inside and i have no remote to unlock the doors how do i get these locks to function. The truck is a crew cab work truck

yes, but it looks like they were never put into operation at the factory looks like all the wiring is there from the locks to the the fuse box i cant tell if there is a rely installed on the fuse box
Did you just purchase this vehicle? What do the buttons inside of the vehicle do when you press them?
there are no buttons acording to the owners manuel you can unlock the truck with the keys or the manuel locks inside
Okay. If you want to add in the factory set up it is going to be expensive. You will need to get the door lock switch and the module to control them. You will need the door lock solenoids. You will also need to add in the relay set up. If you want power locks it would be cheaper and easier to add an aftermarket unit.
