Customer Question

I have a 2006 Envoy XL Denali, 8 cyl, two wheel drive vehicle. The air conditioner works but there is no air come out via the main front dash vents. All other vents including rear vents are working perfectly. You advise for fixing this this is welcomed.

Hello and thank you for trusting me with your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX X will do my best to help you with your GMC problem.

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds, then reconnect to recalibrate the system. After starting the engine, do not touch any a/c controls for one full minute to allow the system time to recalibrate. Then let me know if the symptom has improved or if it has stayed the same.

OK. Going outside to do as instructed. Will respond on results shortly.

No change. Blower comes on but no air is coming out the main dash vents.

The problem is in the mode actuator. Replacing the mode actuator should fix the problem. It is located on the left side of the heater case and can be accessed from under the drivers side of the dash. Arrow 1 shows the mode actuator.
