2005 silverado diesel-Has extending power mirrors- passenger side will adjust in and out, but not up and down. any idea?

the drivers side will adjust up and down just fine ?

yes, everything else works fine- have not checked to see if I have voltage to it when you push the up/down button.

more than likey the mirros motor for the up and down is bad but to be sure with a meter put the meter on DC put one lead to the PURPLE/WHITE wire and the other lead to the WHITE.push it up and then down one way it should read 12 volts the other way it should show -12 volts.if you get that for a reading then the mirroe motor is bad.if you do not get that reading more than likey then the passenger door module is bad.but everyone i have come across the mirro motors are bad ( havent seen a passemger door module cause this problem yet )
