I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD (Diesel) and it continues to go into "Reduced Engine Power" every time I allow the vehicle to sit idle for 30 seconds or longer without driving. It has an aftermarket air filter (AFE) which came with the vehicle when I bought it used. Never had this error until a couple of weeks ago. I took it to the shop and they said to replace filter. i replaced the AFE filter with a new one and it is still showing the same error. When it goes into reduced engine power mode, it will not allow me to go faster than about 20 miles per hour. Any ideas?
