Is engine power limited? Is the check engine light on?

Customer replied407 days and 6 hours ago.

yes . has been for a while. The guy at gm told me it was for a fuel item and not an issue and would not hurt the engine.

This is a problem in the electronic throttle controls. This can be either in the accelerator pedal position sensor or in the throttle body at the engine, or in one of the wiring connectors. It is best to have the computer scanned for trouble codes,as this will help to narrow down the problem. This will not harm the engine, but it does affect driveability.
