Tracer :

Hello, I am Randall. Does it have to be .pdf? the reason I ask, I can send link to exact same online repair data base most all shops use. The only difference is we get all vehicles and you can only select 1-3 for a year online, very affordable for all the repair info you will have. You can view all repair info online at anytime and convert it to .pdf if need. If not? lmk thanks

Customer :

The exact problem is that the a/c does not work, the clutch on the a/c pump does not engage, no light on a/c button on the dash. Shoud we have 12 volts to the a/c pump to excite the clutch.

Tracer :

depends. are you 100% sure the system is full of r 134?

Customer :

Yes, it appears that the problem is electrical.

Tracer :

the compressor clucth relay is controlled by the computer (PCM) it gets signals form the HVAc control panel to tun on AC clutch. You have to be sure system is full, then check all fuses shown. If all good, then jump across the Low pressure cycle switch. If still no compressor? need to check for power at compressor clutch, If none? then back up and be sure power to cycle switch. if no power there? then suspect bad control panel. IF power at cycle switch? then may suspect bad compressor clutch. You can click HERE for .pdf of wiring diagram

Customer :

No power at the compressor, Is it suppose to be 12 volts power at compressor clutch,

Tracer :

yes,, I sent that info. You are to have 12 volts at compressor clutch. If not,, then you have to follow the steps I sent to you, fuses, checking power to cycle switch etc

Customer :

Okay, thanks
