GM Tech (Cam) :

GM Tech (Cam) :

Cap and rotor??

GM Tech (Cam) :

intake leaking?

Customer:

fuel filter and fuel pump replaced 2 years ago. plugs wires about a year ago. has a coil pack

Customer:

only code that showed up on autozone scanner was knock sensor

GM Tech (Cam) :

Ok how about the cap and rotor?

Customer:

i have a distribution block, is there a replaceable "cap and rotor" or does the whole block get replaced as one unit?

GM Tech (Cam) :

The distributor cap and rotor at the back can be replaced on their own.

Customer:

i'll try that. if that doesn't work, are any of the problems symptematic of a bad sfi?

GM Tech (Cam) :

the SFI can, but the cap and rotor if you have not is the most common thing.

Customer:

thank you. i'll get on it
