No pictures offered for repair but follow the top rad hose to the engine,. Wher it connects is the thrmostat housing,. remove th hose from the housing, remove th 2 bolts, pop off housing and t stat will be sitting inside. New stat and gasket. You really dont have to drain coolant bu some will come out when you remove the housing so be prepared for this. really a fairly easy job. Just be sure housing is clean of old gasket and do not over tighten when you go back with it so as to not crack it.

  1. Drain cooling system until radiator coolant level is below thermostat.
  2. Remove thermostat housing bolts and/or studs, then the thermostat housing and thermostat.
  3. Thoroughly clean gasket surfaces of thermostat housing and intake manifold.
  4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
