2004 gmc: the diagnostic port..signal..even light

Resolved Question:

the diagnostic port on my 2004 gmc denali is not sending a signal or code at all. No reading, no power. A shop got an error, my reader didn't even light up? please tell me where there is a fuse or loose connection, it worked a month ago just fine, hasn't been touched since. going to the gmc shop is an automatic toooooooo much money. thanks

HelloCustomer you need to check the fuse under the hood labeled CIGAR. This fuse powers the data link connector. Let me know what you find.
