2003 Yukon Denali: leak coming..the spare shaft..rear axle

Resolved Question:

I have an oil like leak coming from the rear center of my 2003 Yukon Denali XL. When I look underneath the vehicle, just past the spare tire, in the center of the vehicle (drive shaft/rear axle?) I see the oil on surfaces there.

What is likely the cause of this? What kind of cost to fix?
