I had German citizenship by birth because my mother was German. Later, I acquired citizenship in the U.S. when my parents applied for citizenship. I am currently 23 years old (born 7 March 1989). Is there any way I can retain both U.S. and German citizenship?I have taken a course with the Goethe Institute in Freiburg, Germany and received a certificate for passing level A1 of German Language. The reason I want to retain German citizenship is to be able to work in the EEA. I would also like to retain my U.S. citizenship to be able to live and work in the U.S.Danielle-Mod41098.1889164352
