Hello Rob and welcome to JustAnswer!

Let's first give definitions for the terms "commercial", "strategy" and "key element".

Commerical: services to customers who are primarily engaged in wholesale or retail trade, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, transportation, communications, sanitary services, finance, insurance, real estate, personal services, government and service that does not fall directly within one of the other classifications.

Strategy: a long term plan of action designed to achieve a particular goal. Also describes the differentiating activities an organization pursues to gain competitive advantage.

Key element: the most important elements of a task.

As we see from the definitions, a "commercial strategy" will vary greatly depending on the area of commerce itself, and key elements may very as a personal opinion even when subjected to the particular strategy of a particular commerce.

To cut to the chase, generalizing the key elements of an "any commercial strategy" is very difficult. When you say "ANY" that goes to a generalization. There should be a general commercial strategy first, then some key elements for this can be determined.

Let me give it a try:
- A Generalized Commercial Strategy: Remain competitive by maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and reducing costs of products and services.
- Key Elements: a) establish online feedback system and assign a special team to ensure customer satisfaction; b) assign a team to analize product costs on monthly basis and determine cost reduction target products; c) assign a team to follow competitor prices and prepare comparison charts; d) assign a team to run cost/price/costumer satisfaction surveys and present monthly reports; e) assign a team to run cost savings projects;
