I had friends years ago .. one was name Barry Lapine and he once worked for Momtgomery Ward ( out of business now) and his family lived in Brooklyn,, he moved thought to 'the island' I believe. I think he had a brother Dennis and Barry would be about 68 now. Hi family in 1960 lived at 1630 West 12tj Street in Brooklyn NY
I also would like to find another friend, Michael L. Friedman who was from NY? but, many years ago l believe he lived in Dallas. He lived at 7189 Gaston St. there. In 1962 He worked at the MacMallian Company ( book?) on 65th Ave in NY. He also would be between somewhere between 68-79
I knew an attorney, Robert ( Bob) Moss who was an attorney in NY at the same time. He would also be around 70 years. I think he was an Labor attorney.
Another friend, Jordan Fishman who lived in Detroit .. forty-five years ago:) at 23101 Radclift in Oak Park 37, Mich and he had a lounge/ restaurant there I believe in the 60's which was burned down when they had riots in Detroit then.
And, finally, I had a friend, Justino Diaz who was a very big star in the Metropolian Opera in NY and even opened the Lincoln Center when it opened as the lead singer.This was around 1962?
If you can find any of these people.. I'd be happy to send you a check..,.

LEAD: Robert D. Moss, a trustee and assistant to the president of the New York-based F. W. Olin Foundation, died of cancer Tuesday at his home in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was 70 years old.

Robert D. Moss, a trustee and assistant to the president of the New York-based F. W. Olin Foundation, died of cancer Tuesday at his home in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Moss, a lawyer, became a trustee of the foundation, which makes gifts to independent colleges and universities, in 1976 and also served as treasurer and vice president. He was previously a special assistant attorney general of Minnesota and a former vice president of the Federal Cartridge Corporation.

Survivors include a son, Cary D. Moss of Minneapolis, and four grandchildren.

Michael Friedman still lives in New York.

I wanted to find Barry Lapine and thought that he had a brother.. named Dennis. I sent the email address you sent me an email asking if his brother was Barry Lapine and awaiting an answer.
I was told that Michael Friedman was living in NY. Possibly. when I looked on the white pages I found a few also. What I want is a name and phone number that is the same one that I once knew when he worked at the book company in the early 60's of McMillen.
Roberty Moss ( Bobby) you say is now deceased. Is there a number that I can call? I would call and varify all of these if I could get contact numbers.
Jordan Fishman ? All I was able to see was something about year books to buy?
And the opera Singer.. Justino Diaz? Is there a phone number to reach him?
Incidentally, there is a mistake. You wrote me last week that I accidently mailed you a check to Rebecca Jefferies who i had meant to send out seperately. I however, mailed both the $20.00 check and the $50.00 check in the same envelope. I at that time, asked you to return the larger one and I would see if the info was correct and send a balance for that if it were.
You said you we're going to do so but now I see I have a credit of $70.00? Please correct the mistake. And, if I'm able to actually contact these people.. I'll send a balance of fifteen dollars and if not, please return the balance to me.
