Brother CE5500PRW: Wheel feels very tight. When I try to sew,, I get an E6 error. I checked bobbin case--no thread showing. I rethreaded everything. Wheel still tight with E6 error.

Hi and welcome to Just answer.Initially, error 6 means that your machine detect a thread tangled or the motor have hard time to work. Try to remove all your thread on both upper and lower,remove the needle and bobbin case/bobbin. Then try to manually turn your hand wheel again and see if it is still hard to turn. Please reply if still hard to turn or smooth.
