My name isCustomerand I would love to help.

There is no way to extract silver from silver plated items.

For this reason, silver plated items do not generally have a high value.

Silver plated items are made of nickel, zinc and other allows that are then dipped in a liquid wash of silver and other chemicals through an electrical process. This plating is so thin that if you were able to extract it somehow, you would need 1,000 forks, for example, to make one ounce. That is just an extreme example for purposes of discussion.
