Customer Question

I have a black knight machine. I don't know much about its history due to a friend of a friend wanting to get rid of it because they are moving. It had minor problems that were relatively easy to repair except when it would boot up it would throw the code2500 4. I checked it over and discovered that the battery holder was shot. I soldered in a new one and booted it up. It turned on for about 10 seconds and blew a fuse. I replaced the fuse but now the display won't light up. Any thoughts? Do you think I killed the board?
