I have a gaggia accademia superautomatica machine that is constantly getting E 04 code. I don't know what that is, and I have really poor luck trying to power cycle to fix it. Any ideas on what I can do ? I have been able to remove the brew group on occasion, and reset it, but that does not always fix the problem. Right now everything seems to be in exactly the right place, and yet it continuously comes back to E 04 after a power cycle. Is there a sensor problem ? Is there anything I can service myself ? I don't even know what E 04 means - it is not in the manual.
