Thanks for the answer. As for Chicago I couldnt see the year rate for 2014. Just the first three months.

Chart was a bit difficult to read so went ahead to look for exact numbers for Chicago. Latest numbers show that hotel occupancy rate rose to 69.3 percent last year, up from 67.4 percent in 2013:
