Hi, for RASCI, what is the best definition of A and how to use it? Can you use RASCI for all decisions, or just specific project-related decisions that are required after the decision has already been made to do the project? Is there a better framework for decision-making that is not limited to specific project-related decision-making?

Hello, I'm a moderator for this topic. I've been working hard to find a professional to assist you right away, but sometimes finding the right professional can take a little longer than expected.

I wonder whether you're ok with continuing to wait for an answer. Please let me know and I will assist further. Thank you!

I'd still like an answer please.

Hello, Thank you for using this service. I wish to introduce myself. I am a Research Librarian with 20+ years of experience.

Quite a number of items out there on the subject of this Six Sigma idea. Quite simply, RACI can be used often and are simple to create yet especially powerful for clarifying roles and responsibilities across people within different parts of the organisation.

I have gone ahead today and tried to research some of the better explained definitions of what RACI is.

1. This tutorial has had high marks from users and has been recommended for graduate courses:

Definition of "A" from the site:

Accountable
‘Accountable’ is the person or role who has the final authority and accountability to a given task. For any given task, there is only one role/person accountable. This accountability can’t be delegated to other roles or individuals or entities.

While RACI is popular and a good framework, there are other types out there to possibly review to see if it will fit in a particular organization.
