Are the laces heavily waxed?
I don't think so.
But they did come in waxed.
But not that much.
That can sometimes cause the problem, but to avoid it, regardless of the type of laces, if you go around twice when tying instead of once, they won't come untied.
And it's just as easy to get them untied when you want to.
I see. The trouble is, there is only one way I know how to tie. (With two bunny ears before crossing them and tying them)
Ok... after you make the first bunny ear and you are wrapping the lace around it... just go around twice.
So... step one you know... pull that tight, step two is the first bunny ear... step three is where you go around twice, then continue
