I want to build a suspension bridge for my grand kids play

This answer was rated:

I want to build a suspension bridge for my grand kids play fort. It will only be about 12 feet long with a 1 foot rise from one end to the other. does anyone know where I can find plans or just a good picture of one similar to this? I am thinking of lumber and cable.

Just to get an idea of what you are looking for, is this the type of bridge you are looking to build?

Under the main picture, there are several different angles.

That looks like what I had in mind. Do you know how the floor of the bridge is constructed/supported?

I would follow the same convensions as a concrete footing for a deck. It's inexpensive, fairly simple, and very safe.
