My name is XXXXX XXXXX you available?
Have you ever taken an in person course before?
OK i have taken A LOT myself
i can tell you immediately that an in person course
with a quality instructor is going to be considerably more valuable
and make you MUCH more comfortable
in the event you ever have to use your skills
they have dummies of all sizes for simulation on adults, kids, infants
they teach you the correct amount of force for chest compressions
the correct amount of breath for rescue breathing
and the dummies basically "react" as to simulate a real human
there is no comparison to real life hands on CPR training to something online
ok. that is what I was thinking too, but hearing it out loud, makes my decision so much easier. I'll take an actual class. How much do classes run do you know? or do they all cost different amounts based on who has them?
well it depends on who is putting them on
i used to always do the redcross ones
they were like 40 or so at the time
through my employer
and when i was a graduate student it was like 10 dollars
I would look locally for instructors
it would be important in my eyes to get feedback on instructors
you actually want to learn the skills as opposed to just taking the class
the instructors make a HUGE difference
because if the time comes
you gotta be familiar
Thank you so much for your insight! You really have helped me to make a definite decision. :)
Very happy to hear that
You can always request me for questions about anything in the future if you like
:) will do!
