Hello, I'm Norman. Are you rady to chat?
Just type when you're ready
how can you tell how old an appliance is and if it is old is there a place to still get parts
Usually, its quite easy. Somewhere on or inside the appliance will be an identicication plate - for a washer or dryer usually on the back, or for a refridge or freezer inside the cabinet or again on the back. It will give you the model number, serial number and man
The next step is to call or email the manufacturer and ask if they still provide spares for that model and if not, do they know where you can get them
If that fails, and Internet search is usually successful.
i have all that i was asking for the age
Go onto a search engine - Google for example- and type in something like "Spares for Kenwood Model xxx-xxx-xxx". You'll find lots of places who can supply you. As to age, the only accurate way of finding out is to ask the manufacturer about the model number - they will be able to tell you.
