I have a Troy-Bilt Tomahawk shredder built by Garden Way Inc. Model no. 47285. This company is bankrup. I need a bearing which has the number 52MSTR6 stamped on it which supports the shredding wheel. Any suggestions where I can get one?

OK will wait for reply.
Hi! I think you can try at Briggs and Stratton, located at Milwaukee Wisconsin. You can call them at 1-800-444-7774 or 1-800-274-4471 ( http://www.briggsandstratton.com )
The shredder has a Briggs and Stratton motor on it but the bearing is for the shredding wheel on the shredder itself which Briggs and Stratton, to my knowledge, has nothing to bo with. Am I wrong?
Actually, I have just searched for some companies which manufactures or sells products similar to Garden Way, Inc. We can't view the exact details of the product though. The best thing is for you to call them and check then let me know, so I can assist you further.
You can also try at Troy-Built ( http://www.troybilt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/topcategory_10001_14102_-1 ) You can type the model you are looking for in the correct box for search. You can also see the numbers at the " contact " icon.
I have already talked to Troy_Bilt. They carry NO parts for this shredder because it was built by Garden Way and Garden Way is bankrup. I am trying to find another source for the bearing stamped "52MSTR6".
Did you try the Briggs and Stratton already?
Briggs and Stratton are closed now. I will call them tomorrow. How can I contact you after talking to them?
You can also check here http://westsidedelivers.com ((NNN) NNN-NNNN)
By the way, I will be here after 15 hours again.
I tryed http://westsidedelivers.com and they appear to be an electrical supplier. They do not have bearings. I may have asked for something that may be very difficult to find. Should we keep trying?
There are different items. Check the left side where you can see "shop by brand", you can browse the link under and you can see bearing and industrial.
They list two bearings with no pictures or part references. The prices are very low and I know the bearing I am looking for will be $15 to $25. I can go to local bearing supply houses but this is a special bearing. I need to see pictures or part numbers.
You can contact them by phone or email. Maybe you could tell them your specific requirements. You can also try requesting if they can send you photos of the item via email. You can actually create an account there so you can fully use their site. Most of the time, not all our specific requirements are posted even in company's website. It's the company's choice and limitations, too. Hope I was able to help you on this.
