Can you tell me the type of system and describe what it is used for?

Do the nozzles have the capability of being separated from the system?

There is an over the counter product called CLR(calcium, lime and rust) available at any home improvement store and most grocery stores that is made of a very mildly acidic compound along with some surfactants to dissolve mineral and other build up and carry it away with a rinse.

A product often used for water mineralization removal in automotive detailing applications from paint, glass and metals is actually white vinegar(acetic acid) mixed anywhere from 1:1 to 1:5 with water, it can even be used straight. YOu could also try this before deciding to buy the CLR solution.

If you wanted to you could probably even take it a step further and combine a little bit of vinegar, with a drop or so of dish soap with some water and try to make a "homemade" lighter version of CLR before spending the money on it.
