I purchased a car in Sept 2011 and kept my old license plate

Resolved Question:

I purchased a car in Sept 2011 and kept my old license plate with a May 2012 sticker on it. This one is apparently going to run out at the end of this month. What do I do to get another sticker for my license plate?

To get a new sticker you have to renew your car registration for the state that the car is registered in. Your state is Virginia, so I have attached a link to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. You can renew your registration on-line by following the directions on the website. Your new sticker will come in the mail.
