Hello. That is hard to say as many place are in very unstable economic time right now. Also when you mention rental, it also imply that the return on investment must be immediate, but at the same time it's impossible to not include propriety value growth.

You can forget big Japanese towns, Germany, Vancouver and such market. I think a good bet would be São Paulo Brazil and the surrounding towns. On a pure yield point of view, i would also consider Haiti as having much potential.
