I have a large portfolio (1,000 for a start) of Digital Images

Resolved Question:

I have a large portfolio (1,000 for a start) of Digital Images of Australian Nature, mostly birdlife and wildflowers. I would like to sell non-exclusive copyright to most of them (individually).
What would be the most cost effective way to display them for sale (in low resolution) on the internet, social media etc. I am skilled enough to manipulate and configure images but not even in begginer class in website work.
Ideally I would just handle the customer contacts, dispatch high resolution images and collect payment. Uploading images should also not be a problem.

I do not speak a single word of Facebook, Twitter or any of that.

Hello, and welcome back to Just Answer.

There are two sites you might be interested in, for displaying your photos for sale. One is called http://yessy.com/ They give a 2 week free trial so you can see if you like it, and they charge $59 annually for membership. I think they also take out 10% of each sale for their fee. Check it out (go to the photographs/wildlife/flowers, etc. in the sub-categories) and see what you think.

Another site where you can sell your nature photos is http://www.etsy.com/ They also offer a free trial period of one week, and do not charge an annual fee.

If you would like to sell your photos in a digital mode, you can show previews of the work you have, and then send cd's to customers.

I hope you are successful in selling your photos and wish you the best of luck!
